Ryan Blair is a Registered Veterinary Technician whose journey into veterinary medicine began when he rescued his first fur baby, Misty — a lovely Shepherd mix who enjoys napping and cheese.
Ryan studied veterinary technology at the University of Guelph’s Ridgetown Campus in Ontario before starting his career in small animal general practice, later transitioning into emergency and referral medicine.
Ryan arrived in PEI at the beginning of 2026 and joined the PEI Urgent Care team that July, eager to expand his skills in emergency medicine.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys running Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, reading, watching movies, and collecting Pokémon cards.
While Misty stayed behind in Ontario with her grandparents, Ryan’s new house is now run by his constant companion Charlie — a very sassy tortie princess who doesn’t let him forget it.
