James joined the team in 2026 as our newest Virtual Service Representative. A 2013 graduate of Oulton College in Child and Youth Care, James spent a number of years working in the field. He brings a unique skill set from outside the veterinary medical field, having managed high-stress customer support roles—including navigating airline strikes and assisting families through emotionally difficult travel situations. These experiences have given James deep empathy and the ability to stay cool under pressure, which he is excited to bring to the Galaxy Vets team.
James has a noted love for animals of all kinds—notably bumblebees and his own cats. Moving forward, he looks forward to helping the team provide the best support and understanding to clients, patients, and colleagues alike.
James lives in Saint John with his wife, Jessica, their two sons, Brayden and Evan, and their three cats (whom James happily considers himself an employee to). The feline family includes Odin, an old tuxedo cat of about 15 years who rules as King of the Office; Alfie, a 5-year-old tabby and true middle child named after the TV alien who eats house cats; and Moose, a rambunctious 4-year-old tuxedo. Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family, his church family, and learning new things.
