Alyssa Thomerson is a veterinary assistant who joined the team in June 2025. She has always had a passion for understanding and helping animals, and thus has dedicated her life to the veterinary profession. She graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2022 and expects to obtain her DVM from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2028.
Throughout her undergraduate career, Alyssa gained numerous experiences working with both small and large animals, as well as wildlife. Although the majority of her experience is working with small animals in general practice, she enjoys the fast-paced environment emergency medicine entails and looks forward to helping as many animals and owners as possible!
When not working or studying, she enjoys reading, staying active, and spending time with her dog Cosmo.
